About Volunteer Brum

The Volunteer Brum platform is looked after by Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC).

BVSC are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of people in Birmingham and we believe that the key to this is found in our communities. By supporting a robust voluntary and community sector informed by the lived experience of local people, we enable organisations and individuals working to deliver social change, to identify and build on existing strengths and to enhance these through volunteering and social action.

We want to make sure that anyone in Birmingham who wants to volunteer has the opportunity to do so. Volunteer Brum helps Birmingham's residents to search for activities to get involved with in their neighbourhood that fit with their lifestyle and interests. The platform has an extensive database that helps you to find all the volunteering opportunities that Birmingham's voluntary and community sector has to offer. It also enables Birmingham's voluntary and community sector to find volunteers to support their work.
